WHAT ARE THE ARTISAN CRAFTS DAYS?
The European Days of Crafts – ETAK for short – are a long weekend in spring for watching and participating, taking place simultaneously every year at the beginning of April in 24 European countries. In Germany, many regions in nine federal states showcase a wide variety of creative crafts – and this year marks the twelfth time! Craftspeople and creative individuals open their workshops, shops, and studios, allowing visitors of all ages a glimpse behind the scenes. Museums, theaters, opera houses, universities, public institutions, and many others also offer exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, and other activities related to arts and crafts.
